The notary is an impartial holder of a public office. He certifies contracts and declarations in a legally secure manner for all parties involved and provides neutral advice. A solicitor, on the other hand, represents the interests of their client alone. Prof. Dr. Frank Martin performs both functions – but always separately and with clear role distinction.

Fees for legal services are governed by the Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz (RVG) or an individual agreement. Notarial fees are set by statute in the Gerichts- und Notarkostengesetz (GNotKG) and are therefore uniform throughout the country. We will inform you transparently in advance of the costs you can expect.

For most certifications, we require in advance the personal details of all parties involved as well as the relevant documents (for example, land register data for a property purchase).
